A few of our favorites: Pattern Play
It's no secret that we love mixing patterns at House Dressings. Mixing in an on-trend pattern via accent pillows, rugs, towels etc is an easy way to keep a home looking fresh & updated. We've rounded up a few of our favorite ways we've played with mixed patterns below.
Our tip: Vary size, scale & texture when mixing patterns. Just make sure you have at least one consistent element, like color, to keep the look cohesive.
Morgan Fields Model Home Staging
We are so excited to share pictures of our most recent model home project. We partnered with Manuel Builders but this time took a drive west on 1-10 to Lake Charles to stage a model home in their newest community, Morgan Fields. This home featured their traditional Southern style but with a few modern updates. They asked for a structured Restoration Hardware inspired style that paid homage to the home's Southern roots. We used varying shades of blue throughout the house to tie the look together.

Power Staging: Elysian Fields
This power staging is the perfect example of how we work to create a broad appeal to buyers. We added lots of on trend accents & fresh to color to energize the listing. We also edited the furniture arrangement to help define space use as well as maximize square footage.
Also, never under estimate the power of paint! A fresh coat in a fun color on the front shutters really upped the curb appeal. Click through below to see the transformation!

Power Staging: Teche
We love doing power stagings. But we especially love this one. The seller was a dream to work with and did her homework. Her hard work, combined with our power staging, snagged her a contract the first day the house was on the market. It's stories like this why we love doing what we do!
